I am Kerr Maxwell, a theoretical physics PhD student based in the West End of Glasgow. My current qualifications can be found HERE.

I have years of experience working at the forefront of physics and mathematics research. I am an experienced teacher, having done everything from dragging my fellow classmates through exams, conducted university tutorial classes, all the way up to designing and lecturing graduate courses and exams.

I believe learning goes a lot deeper than answering answering exam questions. I am interested in understanding how my students think about problems, and aim to develop their subject knowledge alongside their general critical thinking and analysis skills. I want to equip my students with the critical skills which will enable them to become proficient independent learners, while cultivate in them an enjoyment of problem-solving that will help them long after their exams are finished.

I provide several tutoring services

High School: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science + related (any level)

University: Mathematics, Physics (most undergraduate and some graduate material)

Programming: Python (any level)

I am also available to discuss non-curriculum based private tutoring, to help develop STEM interest and skills at any level or age.

At the moment I only provide in-person services in Glasgow city centre or the west end.
